Joey does the play-by-play with Johnny Carter for all of the Madisonville Mustang sports events. Joey is an employee for the Madisonville CISD. As a team, Joey and Johnny will do their best to bring you the most up-to-date information on whatever Mustang sport that you are listening to. Tommy Davis- Play by Play
Tommy does the play-by-play on KMVL FM for the games of the week. Tommy has been broadcasting sports on the radio since 2002.
Tommy graduate from Buffalo High School in 1990 and played baseball for McLennan Community College in Waco for one year before transferring to Tarlatan State University in Stephenville to play for the Texans until he graduated in 1994. Tommy came to KMVL in the fall of 2010.
Rusty Shaw
Rusty Shaw is the voice of the daily local sport for both KMVL and sister station KIVY.
KMVL has been serving Madison County for over 20 years. Beginning as a stand alone AM station, and building to a translator AM station in Huntsville, (both on 1220 AM). These two transmitters primarily carry Adult Standards music.In 1998 a 13,000 watt FM station on 100.5 FM was built which now carries Classic Country.In 2014 a FM translator was added to the AM line up of transmitters, broadcasting on 98.9. These are the people who make it all happen on both stations!
